I only noted this photo as "Bulawayo". Maybe someone knows a more accurate location. It shows one of the smaller Garratts, a 14a class 2-6-2 2-6-2 No 515.

I think that I`d climbed the coaling tower to take this photo of Bulawayo steam shed in 1990. A few Garratt locos and a conventional steam loco are present.

When the Steam was regular in Zimbabwe

Back in 1983, the Bulawayo shed was still very active with plenty of Garratt locomotives being serviced every day like the 16A #602. Today, the shed is completely derelict.
